The Center for Neurodisability Rights and Systems Accountability
The Center for Neurodisability Rights and Systems Accountability is a policy and advocacy initiative dedicated to advancing the civil rights, constitutional protections, safety, and full inclusion of neurodivergent individuals, particularly children and individuals on the autism spectrum.
The Center develops policy recommendations and model legislation, engages policymakers and government agencies, supports legislative and regulatory advocacy, and examines systemic practices that contribute to discrimination, exclusion, inadequate services, or the criminalization of disability-related behavior. Its work focuses on education, juvenile justice, healthcare, public safety, due process, and access to government services. Through research, coalition building, public education, and institutional accountability, the Center works to ensure that neurodivergent individuals are protected, accommodated, and treated with dignity across the systems that affect their lives.
